WELCOME TO THE 2012 AUSKICK SEASON AT BLJFC

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the 2012 Auskick season at the Bullcreek Leeming Junior Football Club which is going to be an exciting one.

This year we have over 220 registered players aged between 6 and 8 playing for BLJFC divided into 16 teams, that’s 4 more teams than last year!

For those returning from last season, you may notice a few changes.  This year we are trialling Saturday morning games and finishing the season with a Parents versus kids game. We would like your feedback on these changes to measure the interest for next season.

We are starting a mentoring program with the 16s and 17s who will come down and assist coaches and the kids once a month.

We also have a Canteen roster for all teams to help out on a Sunday.

Our website (www.bljfc.com.au) is constantly being updated with rosters, photos and news, so please go to the Auskick drop down menu at the top of the home page and find all the information there.

We had our very first “Girls in Auskick Clinic” this year, which was a huge success! See it all on our website in the Photo Gallery. Thanks to all those girls and Elly Lambkin from the WAFC who braved the rain. It was a great day.

The club has a great reputation for its Social functions. In May we are planning a Horse Race Night, with fake money to bet with, a Fashion Parade for both the Fillies and the Studs. In July we have our infamous Quiz Night. So make sure you book your tables and tickets to avoid disappointment for both events.

Finally a BIG THANK YOU to all the parents who have volunteered to Coach, Team Manage and help out with the Sausage Sizzle and Canteen Rosters, your enthusiasm and participation is invaluable and allows us to continue to be one of the Best Junior Football Clubs in Australia.
